The "Vostok" rocket is a three-stage, constructed on an atypical "broom" principle (when several auxiliary ones are installed around the main engine). The first stage consists of 4 liquid fuel engines; the second stage is almost one and a half times higher, than the first. It is equipped with the same engine, as the first stage, but this stage does not have stabilizers. Both stages use RD-107 engines. The third stage is almost three times shorter, than the second, it is connected to the second stage by a traditional openwork connection for Soviet launch rockets. It also has a liquid-fuel engine, but a completely different one and with less thrust. The rocket is driven by 4 rocket engines, arranged around the lower part of the third stage. The forward part of this stage houses the cosmonaut's cabin, enclosed by a canopy-shaped hood. The “Vostok” spacecraft consists of three main parts: the third stage of the rocket, a double canopy-shaped instrument and braking complex, and a spherical crew cabin. The third stage of the rocket is cylindrical and connected to the other parts in the front part by aerodynamic shields, that protect other parts from damage, when overcoming dense layers of the atmosphere during launch. The rocket was designed in 1956, first launched in 1960, and first launched into orbit in 1961. The first 6 manned flights were made with these rockets – 1961.04.12 – Yuri Gagarin, 1961.08.06-07 – German Titov, 1962.08.11-15 – Andriyan Nikolayev, 1962.08.12 – 15. – Pavel Popovich, 1962.06.14-19 – Valery Bykovsky, 1962.06.16-19 – Valentina Tereshkova.

A large, simple, but demanding attention and not rushing, well-designed and sufficiently detailed model for modelers of any experience. Only beginners and masters with little experience should glue this model under the supervision of a more experienced colleague. There are no color reserves, the textual instruction in Polish is small and only general notes. The graphical instruction is also small, but sufficient for assembling the model. By the way, the front cover can be made removable and a model of the “Vostok’ spacecraft can be placed under it, the details of which are in the publication.
