IJN "Kasuga" – the Japanese armored cruiser, the keel of which was laid in March 1902, launched in October of the same year and in 1904 entered service in the Imperial Japanese Navy. The ship's length was 111.7 m, width 18.7 m, displacement about 7,700 tons. Maximum speed was about 20 knots. The main armament of the cruiser was one 245 mm and two 203 mm guns; the auxiliary armament consisted of 14 x 152 mm and 10 x 76 mm guns. "Kasuga" was ordered by Japan from the Italian shipyard "Ansaldo" and was a ship of the "Garibaldi" class. Cruisers of this type were distinguished by very good armor and good armament, which was achieved at the expense of a lower maximum speed and cruising range. Nevertheless, this class was considered very successful and ships of this type served in the Argentine and Italian navies. The cruiser "Kasuga" after a very unusual and exciting voyage from Genoa to Yokosuka, was very quickly completed there and took a very active part in the Russo-Japanese War (1904-1905) - participated in the Battle of Tsushima (1905). This cruiser, like the entire Japanese Navy, also took part in World War I. Already in 1921 "Kasuga" was reclassified as a coastal defense ship, in 1942 was removed from the armament lists and converted into a hulk. In 1945 he was sunk by American aircraft carrier aviation.

An average, but well-designed and richly detailed model of a medium-size ship, which will suit only medium-experienced and experienced modelers. The model has excellent detailization of the hull, deck equipment, superstructures, artillery, other equipment. There is a small stock of colors and textures, the flags are printed on thin paper and You can choose one of two printing methods: single-side (both sides of the flag are printed on the same side and need to be glued by folding) and double-side. Very beautiful and realistic texture of wooden decks. There are details of the model's keel-block (stand). The textual instructions in Polish are very small - only a few sentences, but the graphical ones are large, detailed, informative and perfectly readable.
