HMS “Caroline” was commissioned into the Grand Fleet on 14 December 1914. At the beginning of his service, the ship was assigned to the Scapa Flow base in the Orkneys and served as the leader of the 4th Destroyer Flotilla. From February to November 1915 he was included in the 1st Cruiser Division of the Grand Fleet. In 1916 “Caroline” joined the 4th Cruiser Division and participated in the Battle of Jutland from 31 May to 1 June under the command of Captain Henry R. Crooke. From 1917 until the end of 1918 the ship was equipped with an aircraft launch platform. It was used to intercept German airships over the North Sea. After the end of World War I the ship remained in the 4th Cruiser Division and sailed for the East Indies in 1919. In 1922, after a technical inspection, it became clear, that it was not worth repairing and the ship was transferred to the reserve. The cruiser was returned to service in 1924, when, after disarming and dismantling the boilers, HMS “Caroline” was converted into a training ship Volunteer Reserve Royal Naval's Ulster Division in Belfast, Northern Ireland. In this condition the ship still operates as a ship museum in Alexandra Dock in Belfast.

Not very complicated, well-designed and perfectly detailed model of a small cruiser, which will suit medium-experienced and experienced modelers. However, it is also suitable for advanced beginners and modelers with little experience, working under the supervision of a more experienced colleague, but it will be necessary to work without a rushing, carefully and accurately, simplify some nodes. The model perfectly recreates the hull, propulsion and control complex, superstructures, armament and other equipment, everything is perfectly designed, excellently, but uncomplicated. There are no color reserves, but some of them can be "combined" from the squares, intended for pasting other parts said, using them sparingly. The textual instruction in Polish is not very large, but detailed and clearly illuminates the entire process of assembling the model. It perfectly complements the large, informative and easy-to-read graphical instruction.
