The small wooden English galleon “Mayflower” became famous as a ship, on the deck of which the first settlers, not the conquerors, reached the shores of America. This journey began on September 2, 1620, in Plymouth, England. There were 25 crew members and 102 passengers on board. The main motivation for most of them to leave homeland was the hope of starting a new life. Some sought wealth, others had to flee their homeland because of religious persecution. During the trip, they had to fight the ocean, diseases, hunger. On the New World, a settlement called Plymouth was established at the landing site, and its inhabitants were engaged in agriculture, trading with the crews of ships, coming from the Old World.

A well-designed and quite richly detailed, colorful and beautiful model, which will be assembled by a less experienced modeler under the supervision of a more experienced colleague. Antiquarian publication.
