Corner of a high defensive wall (version 1)– a medieval castle detail (Castle series)

Another model in the cardboard model series, creating a virtual castle world in the usual 1:87 scale, is released in the “Castle’ series. The model is created on a 6 m x 6 m real base and is a generalized medieval castle with all the attributes of defense and the city or village surrounding it. Individual elements can be freely combined, and roads and walls smoothly transition into adjacent, compatible details of the overall picture. The same graphical tone is maintained throughout the series, despite the variety of tones and textures. The size of the castle and the number of details are limited only by the modeler's imagination and the time needed to implement the idea and the free space, available for the maquette. From this publication You can assemble a model of one variant of the corners of a high defensive wall. After the first defensive line, especially in cities, the castle was often surrounded by a second, higher, thicker and more powerful defensive wall, in which towers and gates of a larger diameter, higher and also more powerful were built. How many of these corners Your castle will need and how You will compose them with walls, gates and towers, depends only on Your imagination.

A considerable model of one of the variants of the corner part of the high defensive walls - of medium complexity, well designed and not overloaded with details, suitable for both advanced beginners and modelers with little experience. Even they will not need any supervision from a more experienced colleague, but You will have to work without rushing, carefully and attentively. There are no reserves of colors and textures. There are no textual instructions at all, the graphical instructions are small, but informative, detailed and easy to read.
