The village tavern - medieval castle detail (“Castle” series)

Another model from the cardboard model series, creating a virtual castle world in the usual 1:87 scale, is released in the “Castle” series. The model is created on a 6 m x 6 m real base and is a generalized medieval castle with all the defensive and city or village buildings, surrounding it. Individual elements can be freely combined, and roads and walls smoothly transition into adjacent, compatible details of the overall picture. The same graphical tone is maintained throughout the series, despite the various tones and textures. The size and number of details of the castle are limited only by the modeler's imagination and the time, needed to implement the idea, and the available free space for the model. From this publication You can assemble a model of a village tavern. Such or similar taverns, some better, others worse, and still others completely empty, were common in roadside villages and near castles. In them travelers could eat, water and feed their horses, rest, and have a glass of beer or mead. However, in more secluded taverns there could also be a danger of being robbed, because their owners often made agreements with forest or roadside robbers and shared the loot. A large village tavern is a large model - simple, well-designed and not overloaded with details, suitable even for complete beginners and modelers with little experience. Even they will not need any supervision from a more experienced colleague, but you will need to work slowly, carefully and attentively. There are reserves of colors and textures, as well, as several street paving and grass segments, that will help You design the "pavement" of not only the tavern, but also the entire castle.
