The Lotus “Esprit” is a British sports car, first introduced to the public in 1976. Its serial production began in the same year and continued until 2004 - mainly concentrated in the city of Hethel in Great Britain. During this time, about 10,500 examples of this model were produced. The Lotus “Esprit” was designed and put into production in order to expand the brand's commercial offer and replace the “Europa” model in it. The “Esprit” differed from its predecessor in many aspects. First of all, the completely changed body style and passenger compartment design, for which Giorgietto Giugiaro was responsible. The new car is powered by completely different engines with a larger displacement (from 2.0 to 3.5 liters) and a higher maximum power - up to 355 h. p.! However, the only body shape, in which the “Esprit” model was sold, was a 2-door coupe. The car's range includes as many, as seven generations.
A small, medium-complexity, well-designed and quite richly detailed model. The full version (with the interior, full engine, transmission, chassis and its suspension, external components and parts detailing) is recommended for modelers of any experience. Only beginners and modelers with little experience are recommended to work under the supervision of a more experienced colleague, not rush and use all the reserves of patience, diligence and attentiveness. We also recommend, that they do the interior and engine detailing only as an attempt: if it works - great - we make the full version of the model, if it doesn't work... - we make the windows opaque, the hatches closed. There is a reserve of colors, but only in the middle of the joining of the sheets. Text instructions, one might say, are not available at all - just a few notes, the graphic one - large and will serve You perfectly in the model production process.
