“K-Wagen” - German heavy tank of World War I (sometimes classified as a super-heavy tank). The first prototype was built in 1917, and by September 1918, 2 or 3 exemplars of this tank were partially completed. It was powered by two “Daimler” V6 engines with 650 h. p. each. Armament consisted of 4 77 mm guns and 7 7.92 mm MG08 machine guns. The “K-Wagen” tank was created, considering the desire of the German army to have a heavy tank, much heavier and better armed, than the A7V. In the end, the tank weighed 120 tons (initially it was supposed to weigh as much as 165 tons!), was 13 meters long, 6 meters wide. By the standards of the First World War, the combat vehicle was really well armored - their thickness reached 30 mm. The tank was so heavy and so large, that it had to be transported to the battlefield in parts, which significantly reduced its speed of use and combat capabilities. “K-Wagen” tanks were never used in combat.
Not very complicated, well-designed and moderately detailed (there is no interior and engine compartment equipment) model of a super-heavy tank for modelers of any experience. Only beginners and those, with little experience, should work under the supervision of a more experienced colleague, not rush and use all the reserves of diligence, attentiveness and patience. There is a considerable reserve of colors, colorful camouflage. Although the model is huge and seems difficult to glue, this is not the case: it consists of a relatively small number of parts, most of which are flat or of simple shapes. The text instruction is medium in size, but detailed, the graphic one is small, but sufficient.
