Pz. Kpfw. V "Panther" - one of the best tanks of World War II. It entered service in 1943 and, along with Pz. Kpfw. IV, became one of the main weapons in German armored divisions. These tanks were used on all fronts and proved their combat value. For each destroyed "Panther" was "paid" with 4 "Sherman" or even 9 "T-34" tanks. But due to the complex design, the production of "Panther" took a long time. By the end of the war, only about 6,000 of these tanks were produced, while "Sherman" and "T-34" together were produced over 100,000. The production cost of "Panther" only slightly exceeded the production cost of Pz. Kpfw. IV and was almost half the price of Pz. Kpfw. VI "Tiger I".
The model is well designed and maximally detailed, but not very complex. The interior and engine compartment equipment is not detailed, but the chassis, its suspension, and external detailing are excellent. It may seem strange, but this model is suitable even for modelers with little experience, working under the supervision of a more experienced colleague, not rush and using all the reserves of patience, attentiveness, and diligence. The greatest complexity is a large number of small details, that need to be glued together accurately and carefully. The chassis is also quite complicated - this is a German chassis!!!. There is a considerable reserve of colors. The textual instructions are small, but quite detailed, the graphic ones are simply stunning. The model's consistency, ease of gluing, and ease of assembly are all evidenced by the designer's name itself - STANISLAW SLIWINSKI.
