"Nashorn" (Rhinoceros), full name 8.8 cm PaK 43/1 auf Geschützwagen III/IV (Sf) is a German World War II medium-weight tank destroyer. It was constructed in 1942 in parallel with the SAP "Humel", produced on the "Geschützwagen III/IV" chassis, in which the Pz. Kpfw. III and Pz. Kpfw. IV assemblies and details. These SAPUs were intended for the destruction of Soviet tanks and until January 27, 1944, called "Hornisse" (German: "Horn") in the German armored vehicle marking system of World War II, called Sd. Kfz. 164. "Nashorn", serially produced from the spring of 1943 until the end of the war. A total of 494 tank destroyers of this type were produced. "Nashhorns" were used in units until the end of the war. Their biggest disadvantage was light, bulletproof armor, but the powerful 88 mm gun could easily defeat any enemy tank in use at the time. Any Soviet tank up to the IS-2 and late model British "Churchills" had a destruction range of 3000m. Between February 1943 and February 1944, a total of 370 SAPUs with chassis serial numbers 310001-310370 were produced at the "Alkett" factories. Another "Nashorn" manufacturer was the "Werk Teplitz-Schönau" factory. From April 1944 to March 1945, 124 '"Rhinos" with serial numbers 310371-310500 were produced here.

Due to the large amount of small details and complex shapes, the model is classified as complex, so it is recommended for intermediate and experienced modelers. Fully detailed combat and engine compartment, perfectly restored chassis and exterior details, nice camouflage.
