Passenger version of a high-speed fighter. Created by Antonio Fokker's “Fokker” company. Its constructor was Reinhold Platz. The first flight took place in early 1918. Mass production of the Fokker D.VII began in February 1918. The first arrived at the front in early April. The aircraft was considered the best German fighter of the First World War. Its increased power was provided by a six-cylinder, water-cooled “Mercedes” D.III engine, developing 160 h. p. From June 1918 the aircraft were equipped with a more powerful 185 h. p. BMW-IIIa engine (modification D VIIF) or a 180 h. p. Mercedes D-IIIau engine, which further improved its efficiency. After the war, many D. VII fighters remained in Belgium. Later 75 of them were included in the Belgian AF and this happened in 1919 as war reparations. These aircraft served as fighters or training aircraft until 1928. In 1931 three of them were sold to the Belgian Civil Registration Service. They received the civil registration markings OO-AMH, OO-AMI and OO-AMY. The first two were purchased by Armand Bollins. All three aircraft were reworked: the combined oil and fuel tank were removed and a storage compartment was installed in its place; a new tank was installed in the upper wing. They were converted into two-seater aircraft and had two additional seats for tourist flights.

A small model of a small aircraft - well designed and quite richly detailed. The model is intended for modelers of any experience, but beginners and those, with little experience, are recommended to work under the supervision of a more experienced colleague. There is nothing to simplify in this model - even the detailing of the cockpits cannot be avoided - they are open and everything in them is perfectly visible (well, maybe not perfectly). The model has excellent detailing of the cockpits, landing gear, visible engine, exterior detailing. You can choose whether to make a model with wheeled landing gear or with skis. The textual instruction in Ukrainian, Polish, English and German are considerable, detailed, and perfectly illuminate the entire process of assembling the model. The graphical instruction is not the largest, but they are quite detailed, informative, and easy to read.
