Change Vought A-7 "Corsair II" - American light carrier-based attack aircraft, adapted to fly from aircraft carriers. Its history begins in 1964. In February 1965 Vought (later LTV “Aerospace”) was tasked with developing a new carrier-based aircraft for the US Navy to replace the A-4 “Skyhawk”. The aircraft was to have a greater payload and greater range. The design was based on the F-8 “Crusader”, adapting it for subsonic flight. The A-7 prototype first flew in 1965; a serial production began a year later. The “Corsair II” resembles the “Crusader” silhouette, but the wing sweep angle was changed, the wing itself was redesigned, increasing the number of suspension units to 6, and - in addition to air brakes and ailerons - flaps and spoilers, as well as a hydraulic wing folding device is added. The construction was essentially identical to the “Crusader”, using many of its structural elements. The main versions are: A-7E (attack aircraft), A-7H (land version), A-7K (more advanced avionics, in service since 1980). The A-7 “Corsair II” aircraft was widely used in combat in the Vietnam War and in the air attack on Libya in 1986. They were also exported to Greece and Portugal. Technical data: maximum speed: 1,100 km/h; climb rate 67 m/s, maximum ceiling 16,000 m, maximum range: 4,600 km, fixed armament: 2 x 20mm Mk.12 cannons, payload: up to 6,800 kg.

A fairly large model of a fairly large aircraft, well designed and well detailed, only for intermediate and experienced modelers. Fully detailed cabin interior, chassis, its niches, stationary and suspended armament (its choice is quite diverse), visible engine details, external detailing. Very colorful affiliation emblems. There are no color reserves in this model. The textual instruction in Polish is not very large, but quite detailed and will serve You well in the model assembly process. The graphical instruction may be a bit small, but sufficient for good gluing of the model, informative and easy to read.
