MTZ-80 "Belarus" is a brand of general-purpose wheeled tractors, manufactured at the Minsk Tractor Plant from 1974 to the present. Since 2000, the brand name has been changed to "Belarus-80". These tractors are the result of the modernization of the previously manufactured machines "MTZ-50". The tractors are composed according to the traditional scheme: a semi-frame structure with a supporting structure of the crankcases of the units, the engine is located in front, the rear drive wheels of increased diameter, the front steering wheels of smaller diameter. After the collapse of the USSR, many tractors of this type worked and are still working in the fields of Lituanian farmers.
A small, medium-complexity and medium projecting level model with medium, but sufficient detailing to glue a competitive model for modelers of any experience. Only modelers with little experience are recommended to work under the supervision of a more experienced modeler and, perhaps, not to do the detailing of the cabin and engine compartment, but it's worth a try - maybe You'll succeed. The model does not require much modification to "Lituanize" it - just make the number plates and... no more problems. The text instruction is tiny - only a few notes in Lituanian, the graphic ones are simply excellent. There are quite a few color reserves.
