A flat-bottom ship with a shallow draft. Historically, they were used to transport agricultural products or livestock along shallow canals and rivers in Europe. In the 18th century, two- and three-mast ships of this type, armed with 10-50 guns, were used as warships, especially in the shallow waters of the Baltic coast during the Great Northern War. In 1803 the French army in the Boulogne camp planned to use them as landing ships for the invasion in England.
A small and not very complicated model of a small sailing ship, intended for modelers of any experience, although the publication states, that it is intended only for experienced modelers. The greatest complexity in it is its small size, but it allows the use of some simplifications, especially in the tying of the rigging. The model is well designed and richly detailed, with a lot of deck equipment. There is a fairly large reserve of colors and textures, there are no text instructions at all, the graphic instructions are small, incomplete and quite confused by the "Kustov" "arrow hedgehog" system, in which the parts with their numbers must be tracked, using all the tools of the detective Sherlock Holmes, and the assembly drawings are not very readable. Several details of the model and the sails are printed double-sided, and the sails are also printed on thin tinted paper, some details are printed with bronze "Metallic" type paint. If You were not scared off by the "horrors" of the assembly instruction and glued this model together, it will definitely decorate Your table, shelf, start or supplement Your collection of sail ship models.
