In 1928 the “Polish Shipping Company” ("Żegluga Polska") purchased two British-built passenger ships - "Jadwiga" and "Wanda" (names of J. Pilsudski's daughters). "Jadwiga" carried passengers on routes from Gdynia to Sopot, Gdansk, Hel and Jastarnia. In 1930, to celebrate the tenth anniversary of Poland's presence at the sea, Marshal Pilsudski arrived in the Coast, who, together with Minister Kwiatkowski, briefly sailed on the "Jadwiga". In 1939 the ship was taken over by the Germans in Jastarnia and converted into the tugboat "Polyp" in Kiel. It was used in the port of Gdansk. In the last years of the war it was directed to the Gulf of Kiel with refugees, where it served until the end of the war. In 1946 the ship, returned to Poland, began working in the port of Gdynia and was renamed "Wilk", but in 1948 it was returned to the "White Fleet" as "Anna". On July 26, 1949, after a collision with the Turkish ship "Odenis", "Anna" sank in the Gulf of Gdansk, killing 11 passengers. On November 15 of the same year the ship was raised, later repaired and resumed service under the name "Halina", later renamed "Zofia". In 1965 it was decommissioned and handed over for cutting in Elbing.

A simple, well-designed and excellently detailed model of a small passenger ship, which will suit modelers of any experience. However, advanced beginners and modelers with little experience, working under the supervision of a more experienced colleague, will need work without rushing, carefully and attentively, simplify some nodes. The model perfectly recreates the hull, propulsion and control complex, superstructures, rescue and other equipment, everything is designed perfectly, but not complicated. There are quite a lot of colors reserve, the texture of wooden decks is recreated very realistically. The textual instruction in Polish is not very large, but detailed and clearly illuminates the entire process of assembling the model. It perfectly complements the also large, informative and easy-to-read graphical instruction.
