The "MAS" type torpedo cutters, which were built by Italian shipyards before and during World War II, were highly valued by maritime specialists. Among the ships of that purpose, they were distinguished by their lightness, maneuverability, high speed and relatively strong armament. Many versions were built, differing in armament, dimensions and equipment. The fact, that they were part of the Finnish navy for several decades after the war, speaks of their longevity.
The model is simple, well designed for the it's time, moderately detailed. Perfect even for beginner modelers as one of the first more complex models. It would only be good to glue it under the supervision of a more experienced colleague. Antiquarian publication.
