“Komatsu” 830E - a modern, extremely heavy Japanese and American truck. The mass of the car is 154,850 kilograms, length - 14.15 meters, width - 7.29 meters. The height of the car - 6.88 meters! The truck is powered by one 16-cylinder engine “Komatsu” SDA16V160 or “Cummins” QSK60, with a capacity of 60 liters and a maximum power of 2461 h. p. Serial production of these giants takes place in Peoria, Illinois. ‘Komatsu” 830E was designed and manufactured by the American company “Dresser Industries”, located in Dallas, Texas. However, at some point, the branch of this company, responsible for the production of building equipment and road vehicles, was taken over by the Japanese concern “Komatsu Ltd”., so all vehicles, manufactured by this company to date have been renamed. This acquisition was part of “Komatsu's“ market strategy to compete with the American company “Caterpillar”. The “Komatsu” 830E truck is designed to transport excavated materials from large open pit mines. In world markets this vehicle competes with the “Liebherr” T282C and “Caterpillar” 797B.

A well-designed and well-detailed model for medium-experienced and experienced modelers. It has excellent detailing of the cabin equipment, engine compartment, chassis, visible parts of transmission, cargo platform, exterior details. Most of the sheets with details are fully printed in the main color, and the outlines of the details are only outlined with black lines. Text instructions, one might say, are absent at all - only a few notes in Polish, the graphic ones are huge and perfectly explain the entire assembly process. There is a whole sheet of color reserve. It is possible to make the cargo platform foldable, all doors and hoods openable.
