Messerschmitt Bf-110 – the German twin-engine heavy fighter with a twin tail. They were equipped with Junkers "Jumo" 210Ga, Daimler-Benz DB 601B-1, Daimler-Benz DB 601F, Daimler-Benz DB 605B-1 engines, the power of which ranged from 700 h. p. to 1475 h. p. The first prototype of the Bf-110 flew in May 1936. The first serially produced version of the Bf-110 was the C version, which entered production in 1939. The C version was considered a heavy fighter and was used in small numbers in the September 1939 campaign, but it was one of the most widely used aircraft in the French campaign. Too heavy and too slow, the Bf-110 suffered heavy losses in the Battle of Britain, so it was systematically transferred to the Reich defense units as a night fighter, for which purpose the G and H versions were later developed. They were used as night fighters and interceptors against Allied bomber raids. With an on-board radar (e.g. FuG 202 or FuG220), the Bf-110 became a very formidable enemy of British bombers. During production, about 5,800 exemplars of this aircraft were produced. Technical data (version Bf-110C): length: 12.3 m, wingspan: 16.3 m, height: 3.3 m, maximal speed: 560 km/h, maximal range: 2410 km, ceiling 10500 m armament: fixed – 5 x 7.92 mm machine guns and 2 x 20 mm MG FF cannons.

A medium-size model of a medium-size aircraft, not very complicated, well-designed and not overloaded with details, suitable for both advanced beginners and modelers with little experience. But we recommend, that they work under the supervision of a more experienced colleague, not rushing, carefully and attentively. There are no color reserves. Since the model is moderately detailed, the interior details of the cabin are quite simplified, the landing gear niches without serious detailing, the landing gear is also significantly simplified, the engines are not detailed, the exterior detailing is at an average level. The publication is completed with printed cab cover glasses on transparent thin plastic with printed inner frame surfaces. All the simplification is redeemed by a beautiful camouflage with "shark jaws" on the front. The textual instruction in Polish and English is relatively small, but quite detailed, informative and perfectly complements the graphical instruction, which is not large, easy to read, quite detailed and informative.
