The Pt47 steam locomotive was designed after the end of World War II due to the severe shortage of locomotives for long-distance transport lines at PKP (Polish Passenger Railways). In order to speed up the work, the pre-war Pt31 project was used. Pt47 was produced since 1948 in the factories in Chrzanów (120 units were produced) and in Poznań (40 locomotives). The locomotives were used on all major long-distance passenger lines. They also hauled freight and local passenger trains. These locomotives were registered in the depots of Łódź Kalisz, Poznań Passenger, Wrocław Main, Ostrow, Warsaw Western, Piotrków, Słupsk, Kraków and many other railway depots. These locomotives were used until the 1980s. The only steam locomotive of this type still in operation is registered in the depot in Wolsztyn. The 120A series wagon was designed before World War II and manufactured long after it. It was used throughout the People's Poland period and shortly after it, when much more comfortable and innovative wagons, manufactured by Polish industry, began to be used for passenger transportation. But in some places it is still occasionally used You can also see several "Riflaks", incorporated into the set.
From the publication You can make two simple but beautiful models, combined into one set. The models are designed in such a way, that even novice modelers, taking their first steps in paper modeling, can assemble them without much problem. And the help of more experienced colleagues is not really needed here.
